I’m a writer.
I make my living as a writer. And if I were allowed to keep only ONE of the tools I use, there is no doubt in my mind about what it would be.
It’s an easy choice.
Because this one tool is responsible for 99 percent of my income.
You can be a writer with as little as a pen and a stack of papers.
Making money as a writer takes more, though. Especially if you plan to make a living from your words.
You can do that by selling short stories, writing and publishing books or selling PDF guides.
You need tools for that, like Scrivener, Word, Deckle, Atticus or similar tools.
Those tools are great, but they don’t come close to the one tool that all writers need.
But not all are aware of it.
Without it, you’re at the mercy of luck and fate.
With it, you’re in control. I’m talking about an autoresponder.
You use an autoresponder to send emails to a large audience. You can send them as broadcasts or in a sequence starting at a certain point, for example when they join your list.
It’s a must!

It’s a self-hosted website based autoresponder.
I started sending newsletters and emails to my lists in 2003.
I’ve tried so many different autoresponders, and none of them beats nuevoMailer. It’s by far the best.
In other posts I’ll get into its features one by one because I don’t want to overwhelm you if you’ve never used an autoresponder before.
Just know that you need it to contact your readers.
No other medium works as well as direct emails.
That claim has been proven.
Even if you pay to get subscribers to your list, every $1 you spend will bring back $42 on average.
