It's Quick. It's Easy. And it's Repeatable.

"How to Write a Romance Novella in Just 10 Days - Even if You've Never Finished a Book"

  • Do you spend way too much time writing aimlessly?
  • Do you make writing more difficult than it should be?
  • Do you have trouble sticking to the story you set out to tell?
  • Do you know deep down that you should be finishing more books?

Trust me, I understand all too well!

Hi, I'm Britt Malka, and I was a serial book starter.

I would spend weeks - sometimes months - adding more and more words to the story, only to realize I'd created a giant lump of useless garbage.
  • I was writing without direction.
  • I made every aspect of writing my story too complex.
  • Too many times, I realized that the type of story I set out to write was turning into something completely different.

I felt so angry, frustrated, and guilty. I doubted everything I wrote.

I could feel my enthusiasm and energy ebbing away.

It seemed like I would never finish another book!

I needed a do-over.

So, I decided to start fresh and write a romance book. Why? Because, if you check the top-selling books on Amazon, you'll always find plenty of romances.

And I decided to get ideas from my favorite romantic books and movies. I figured they were my favorites for good reasons, right?

It seemed like nearly every example I came up with was a 'Fish Out of Water' story.

In case you don't know, a fish out of water story is when the main character finds himself in an unfamiliar new world.

Examples are everywhere. You'll find them in stories about:

  • The frumpy writer who ends up in the fashion magazine world, wearing Prada and working for the devil.
  • A girl who leaves home to be a governess for a creepy hot guy.
  • The normal girl who finds out that she's a princess and tries to fit in inside her new kingdom.
  • The little boy who makes a wish to be an adult and ends up entering the business world.
  • The moody emo girl who enters a world of vampires and werewolves.
  • The girl who pretends to be a guy and ends up falling in love.
  • Any zombie apocalypse story.
  • Any story about magical worlds interacting with our normal one.
  • Any time travel story.
  • Any story about aliens coming to Earth or Earthlings visiting other worlds.

Fish out of water stories are all over the place. And there's a reason for that...

People love them!

Once this dawned on me, I quickly realized that this type of story was perfect for quick and easy Kindle Romance books!

  • Fish out of water scenarios hand you easy plots that are tailor-made for convenient romance options!
  • The theme works out perfectly with all of the story structures that I (and many of you) have learned over the years.
  • There's an automatic journey for your main character!
  • There's built-in conflict throughout the story because the main character (the fish) is fundamentally different than the people in the new world.
  • The differences between your main character and his/her love interest in the new world provide plenty of ways to keep them apart until the end. The tension and suspense aspects of the romance are easy to write!

instantly had ideas for at least a dozen fish out of water romance stories! I could not believe all the ideas that popped into my head.

So, I chose one and started writing.

It turned out to be one of the quickest and easiest books I've ever written (including my easy-to-write non-fiction)!

As I wrote, I made notes all along the way.

I came up with a repeatable formula that will work for multiple books that are easy to write and remove all of the difficulties in plot, characterization, and all the rest.

The result of this little test absolutely astounded me!

I finished a book in just 10 days using the same chapter-by-chapter formula I'm going to show you!

And these were not sleepless, caffeine-filled days full of stressed out speed writing.

This was writing at my normal pace in the usual time I devote to it in a typical day.

In fact, I could have easily finished in just 7 days if I had not taken the time to make notes!

I was so surprised and overjoyed by actually finishing a book (in record time), that I decided I had to share this with others.

And that's why you're here.

Introducing...

"How to Write a Fish Out of Water Romance: A chapter-by-chapter Guide"

That's right... chapter-by-chapter!

I explain the goal of each chapter and give you an idea of what to write for that specific chapter.

I also provide specific scenarios, ideas, and tips. For example, I give you ideas for how to show attraction and develop sexual tension between your lead and his/her love interest.

You also get all of the little tricks I came up with to keep readers reading, even for beginner authors.

I included a big shortcut I discovered to make this book easier for first-time writers, as well as people who have had problems writing romance stories.

Don't worry if you're the type to feel stifled by the need for an outline or template, there's plenty of wiggle room here to do your own thing.

Here's what one happy reader had to say...

- Eibhlin MacIntosh Fiction and Non-Fiction Writer

So, I'm pretty familiar with romantic fiction -- what works and what doesn't -- and I paused before buying Britt Malka's "How to Write Fish Out of Water Romance."

I mean, really, was there anything new she could tell me?

Britt's advice is usually well-researched and reliable. And frankly, curiosity got the best of me. I bought her report.

I'm really glad that I did, because this report is a winner. I'm printing all 74 pages (plus a three-page cheatsheet) to add to my writing notebooks.

Britt's report is brilliant. It hits on many points that -- in the past -- romance authors struggled to stumble onto, intuitively. She's identified these points, addressed them from several angles, and provided great insights.

In my opinion, no matter what approach you use to create your plot, and how much you already know about romance novels, Britt's report will give you a fresh (and better) way to write romance confidently and successfully.
