Best-selling author shares his method

First, I have good news for you: I was wrong 🙂

I thought the Udemy $10 offer only lasted one day, but it’s still available for another 5 days.

And that made me able to share this awesome and helpful course with you.

It’s created by best-selling author Tom Corson-Knowles, whom I’ve been following for years. He’s written a lot of successful books, among those the “Bibles” for nonfiction writers.

In this course he shares his own method for finding ideas, killing the ideas that will only be time-wasters for you, and how to write a nonfiction book that sells.

Instead of the usual $100, you can get it for only $10, if you act now. You can watch when you have time and at your own speed.

How to finish a book today

I finished a book today.

My secret?

I started two weeks ago 😀

No, really, there is a secret, and it’s called focus.

Besides finishing that book, I also outlined two chapters in a novel, I’m writing, plus wrote emails, plus watched videos about writing nonfiction.

Again: The secret to accomplish all that is focus.

I’m getting good at focus. Years with A.D.D. made it imperative to learn it, or I would be forced to get a job again, something I swore back in 1995 that I wouldn’t.

To help you get the same amount of focus, I’ve written a book called “Two Hour Focused Writing”.

The F-word

You know the F-word, right?

No, not Facebook. On the contrary.

I’m talking about Focus.

Focus is everything, and I keep working on improving mine. Today, I’ll receive my Freewrite, which will be another step to eliminate distractions.

How can you write a book if you check your mail all the time?

How can you reach your daily word count if you go to Facebook to share cute kittens?

You know you should avoid those things. That’s nothing new. But how else do you keep focus for two hours?

I’ve made a book out of my own tips for staying focused and getting some writing done.

When should you make your own covers?

Don’t make your own covers!

Unless you know how to do it, and how to make them look professional.

I love my cover artist, but to be honest, once in a while I just want some fast covers for experimenting with books. I’ve been using Photoshop so far, but I just made two discoveries that will allow me to make better covers, faster.

You can follow in my footsteps. It’s only two steps, and this is what I did:

  1. Get Corel PaintShop Pro X9 here today for only $39.99. This is an incredible deal. I bought straight away, and I love the creativity PaintShop Pro offers: https://goo.gl/bDcks1
  2. Get this awesome Udemy course today only for only $10. I love the way he explains clearly every step of what you need to learn to use creative compositing with PaintShop Pro: https://goo.gl/69u6uF

What’s so awesome about politicians?

Don’t you just love Clinton, Trump and Obama?

No?

You should, actually. As a fiction writer you should appreciate politicians and strong, charismatic leaders like Mark Zuckerberg, Steve Jobs, and even Seth Godin.

Why?

Because they evoke strong emotions. All of them. Very few people can stay indifferent, when they read a quote by Trump, Obama or Clinton. They will either love it or hate it. There are almost no grey areas here.

And isn’t that exactly your job as a writer? To evoke strong emotions?

One of the members of my Kindle Mastermind group, Christopher Pendergraft, has written a book in which he shows you how to use real persons as a basis for characters in your book. He’s also giving an in-depth analysis of politicians such as Obama, Trump and Hillary Clinton, and businessmen like Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg and others.

Armed with the knowledge of HOW to use real persons, combined with this in-depth knowledge about those real persons, you can come up with strong personalities for your books, whether they are about billionaire hotties, dark villains, or horrible monsters.

Help thy neighbor with his New Year’s Resolutions

Christmas is over. We still celebrate Hanukkah, and people are thinking a lot about 2017.

Do you make New Year’s Resolutions?

I don’t. But I’ve planned what I’ll be doing for myself and my business in 2017.

Even people who don’t make resolutions, will often have plans for the future. Why not help them succeed?

You could help a lot of people and make money by publishing a book in the popular self-esteem niche. I’ve made it easier for you to write your book with my Done-for-You Self-Esteem Research.

Grab it here and help thy neighbor: http://malka.biz/dfy-self-esteem-research/

Is a novel among your New Year’s Resolutions?

Around New Year, a lot of people decide that THIS year, they are going to do it!

They will finally write the novel they’ve always dreamed about.

How about you? Is writing a novel among your goals? And would you like to do it in the near future and not six years from now?

Then take a look at this product. It’s the result of an interview I did with Lynn Johnston, prize-winning fiction writer and writing coach. We made it before NaNoWriMo, but it’s valid any time of year.

Get it now and write your novel in 2017: http://malka.biz/finish-your-novel-in-30-days/

Gone after this week

Happy Holidays 🙂

If you’re considering writing non-fiction in the popular “short reads” category, then this will interest you.

One of my students wrote three books in three weeks following this method. Another one finished her first book ever!

However, I’ve decided to remove the book from the market again on January 1st, so this is your last chance to get it.
